To crop a clip, press and hold the Control key and drag any resize handle inward. Hold the Shift key while scaling to preserve the aspect ratio.The cropping of a clip is also specified as part of its properties. To adjust it there, select the clip and click the Video Properties tab. Click the Details icon and use the left, right, top and bottom sliders or manually enter a pixel value to crop the clip.
